Protestors disrupt Gal Gadot’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony

Protestors from both sides of the war in Gaza clashed outside of actress Gal Gadot’s Walk of Fame ceremony in Hollywood.

Pro-Palestinian supporters were furious the Israeli actress is being celebrated as the war rages on overseas.

What was supposed to be an exciting and festive moment for the “Wonder Woman” actress on Tuesday turned to into violent confrontations amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Gadot has been an outspoken advocate for her native country following the deadly Hamas-led attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

The “Snow White” actress has delivered rousing speeches continuing this rhetoric at various events. Earlier this month, she received the International Leadership Award from the Anti-Defamation League at the Never is Now 2025 Summit on Antisemitism and Hate.

“I am proud to be Jewish and proud to be an Israeli,” Gadot said in her speech at the event. “But this is a time when many of us in the Jewish community have had to find our voice and confront the hatred against us, even if it’s extremely uncomfortable. However much you tried to avoid it before, even if speaking up wasn’t really your thing, none of us can ignore the explosion of Jew hatred around the world anymore. And that is what I am doing. No AI needed. It really is me, standing in front of you today, saying, simply, that my name is Gal, and I am Jewish. And we have had enough of Jew-hatred. So we are here, together calling for the release of every single one of our hostages. We have to bring them home.”

Video from Sky5 shows the feuding groups from both sides gathered on Hollywood Boulevard outside the ceremony, which was held in a tent on Tuesday morning.

Slurs and insults were repeatedly shouted at each other. Tensions even escalated to physical contact. A witness told KTLA 5 that someone from one side stole a flag or item from the opposing group, which led to more violence and prompted police to make a number of arrests.

Right now it’s not known how many arrests were made.

Video obtained by KTLA 5 showed a Pro-Palestinian demonstrator calling a Pro-Israel activist “a Nazi.”

Gadot’s ceremony comes ahead of her debut as the Evil Queen in Disney’s new live-action “Snow White” movie, which hits theaters on March 21. “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins and Gadot’s “Fast X” co-star Vin Diesel joined the actress as she received the honor.

So far Gadot has not made any public comments about the demonstration.

The ceremony comes hours after Israel launched airstrikes across the Gaza Strip Tuesday morning.

The region’s Health Ministry said this killed at least 400 Palestinians, which were mostly women and children.

The surprise attack ended a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, which was in place since January.

The White House said it had been consulted and voiced support for Israel’s actions. A senior Hamas official said Netanyahu’s decision to return to war amounts to a “death sentence” for the remaining hostages.

Max Series Gets Canceled After Near-Perfect RT Score Dropped to 29% for Season 3

Two months after The Sex Lives of College Girls ended its third season, Max has canceled the raunchy comedy series that centers around four roommates at Essex College in Vermont. Per Deadline, the Warner Bros. series, co-created by and executive produced by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, is looking for a new home.

Warner Bros., the producing studio behind The Sex Lives of College Girls, is reportedly seeking a way to take the show to a fourth season, possibly with Netflix, as Kaling has a long relationship with the streamer. However, the move may be a long shot. Deadline stated that a rep for Warner Bros. Television declined to comment on the matter.

The Sex Lives of College Girls starred Reneé Rapp, Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Renika Williams, Christopher Meyer, and Ilia Isorelýs Paulino.

The Max series started facing issues when one of its original cast members, Reneé Rapp (Mean Girls), left the show a few episodes into the series’ third season. Season 3 also did not match the fan and critic response as the first two seasons, as ratings were down for the third season. Additionally, per review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the third season of The Sex Lives of College Girls also paled in comparison to the first two. Season 3 had a “Rotten” 29% critic score, while the first two seasons had 97% and 93% critic scores.

Could the Series Find a New Home?

As for whether The Sex Lives of College Girls ends up on Netflix, it remains to be seen as typically moving a series from one streamer to another has been difficult in the past. In the past, Universal TV’s Girls5eva switched from Peacock to Netflix after its first two seasons, and Warner Bros. TV’s Dead Boy Detectives moved from Max to Netflix, so it can be done.

To make the move in the case of The Sex Lives of College Girls, Netflix would have to secure the rights to the first three seasons of the show from Max and international outlets as well. Another layer to the matter is that The Sex Lives of College Girls was part of the streamer’s first wave of original programming when it changed from HBO Max to Max in 2021.

Disney+ will now feed your Simpsons craving 24/7

Disney+ has launched a 24/7 livestream channel dedicated to The Simpsons, available to Premium subscribers starting today.

The livestream channel, or Stream as it’s called on Disney+, will air 767 episodes of The Simpsons throughout the first 35 seasons in chronological order. That’s equivalent of over 300 hours’ worth of content featuring the misadventures of Bart, Lisa, Homer, Marge, Maggie, and all their friends and family throughout Springfield to satisfy your appetite. That includes holiday episodes, even Christmas ones, but does not include the 36th season of the show, which is streaming on Hulu. Gabe Lewis, SVP of Programming and Content Curation for Disney+, said that fans of the long-running animated sitcom have been asking for The Simpsons livestream channel since Disney launched the streaming service in 2019.

“From day one, the fans have asked for a Stream of The Simpsons, and we’re happy to oblige,” Lewis said in a press release. “Streams on Disney+ have been a fantastic go-to experience for subscribers looking to sit back and relax with their favorite shows and movies, and we look forward to evolving the user experience and expanding the offering with more Streams, to more subscribers, later this year.”

Matt Selman, the showrunner for The Simpsons, added, “The Simpsons Stream will deliver a Simpsons marathon all day, every day — no matter when you tune in, this ultimate Simpsons binge will be there.”

The Simpsons Stream channel on Disney+ is reminiscent of the “Every. Simpsons. Ever.” marathon that aired on FXX in the summer of 2014. It ran for 12 days straight and aired 552 episodes, plus The Simpsons Movie, allowing viewers to binge on the show no matter where they tuned in — at home, in the break room at work, in their hotel room on vacation, and even at the gym while running on the treadmill (provided their gyms TVs were dialed to FXX). The marathon broke the Guinness World Record for the longest consecutive TV marathon ever (not counting commercial breaks, of course). This time around, instead of running The Simpsons marathon for a set amount of time, Disney+ is doing the marathon forever, providing a cure for people suffering from choice paralysis over choosing any individual episode of the show already streaming on the service.

Adam Sandler is back on the golf course in the official trailer for “Happy Gilmore 2,” which also reveals the long-awaited comedy sequel will begin streaming July 25 on Netflix.

While Netflix’s logline for “Happy Gilmore 2” keeps the storyline a mystery (it simply reads: “Happy Gilmore is back!”), the new trailer shows Sandler’s character having some doubts about facing off against a few PGA heavyweights. But he returns to the golf course with confidence and all hell breaks loose.

Joining Sandler in the sequel are returning cast members Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald and Ben Stiller, plus newcomers such as Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce and Sandler’s daughters Sadie and Sunny. Real professional golfers John Daly, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and more also feature in the movie.

Sandler teased the movie last year during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” by saying: “It’s good. We worked hard on the script. We didn’t want to let anybody down. People have been asking me for a long time. We’re really excited about it. We wrote our asses off. So many of the golfers are being nice and will be a part of it.”

Kelce, the NFL star who has been breaking into the acting business as of late with roles in Ryan Murphy’s FX series “Grotesquerie” and the upcoming Lionsgate action-comedy film “Loose Cannons,” said on his podcast last May that he would do anything to appear in the “Happy Gilmore” sequel.

“Travis has… he mentioned it, so we have a nice something for Travis,” Sandler said about Kelce’s appearance in the sequel, although he does not appear in the new trailer. “He’s gonna come by. He’s a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.”

Kyle Newacheck, who directed Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in Netflix’s “Murder Mystery,” is helming “Happy Gilmore 2.” The sequel is co-written by Sandler and the original film’s Tim Herlihy, while director Dennis Dugan is back as an executive producer.

  • Campus Shocker: ‘Sex Lives of College Girls’ Gets Unexpected Pink Slip

Campus Shocker: ‘Sex Lives of College Girls’ Gets Unexpected Pink Slip

Well, darlings, pour yourself something strong – “The Sex Lives of College Girls” just got its final grade from Max, and it’s not exactly Dean’s List material. After three deliciously scandalous seasons of dorm room drama and collegiate chaos, the streaming platform has decided to send our favorite Essex coeds packing.

The timing feels particularly cruel, doesn’t it? Just when television’s been desperately gasping for fresh air amid the endless parade of tired reboots and reality show retreads. But here’s the tea – while Max might be done playing house mother, Warner Bros. Television isn’t ready to pack up the mini-fridge just yet. They’re reportedly shopping this gem around faster than a sophomore switching majors after Organic Chemistry.

Let’s pause for a moment and pour one out for what we’re actually losing here. This wasn’t just another Gen-Z comedy throwing spaghetti at the streaming wall. Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble crafted something special – a show that actually dared to let young women be messy, brilliant, and utterly real. No Instagram filters necessary, thank you very much.

The ensemble cast? Pure lightning in a bottle. Pauline Chalamet (yes, that Chalamet), Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, and the absolutely magnetic Reneé Rapp created chemistry that most shows spend years trying to manufacture. Speaking of Rapp – her exit to chase music stardom and claim Regina George’s crown in “Mean Girls: The Musical” left shoes bigger than last season’s platform trends to fill. Gracie Lawrence gave it her all, bless her heart, but some roles just leave too much sparkle in their wake.

That final episode? A deceptively simple scene of four girls sharing Cheetos and conversation in their dorm room. Noble swears they weren’t planning a series finale, but honey, sometimes the universe has other plans. “These four girls… started off in a not-together place,” he told The Hollywood Reporter, in what now feels like foreshadowing worthy of a freshman creative writing workshop.

But before we start writing eulogies, let’s remember that in today’s streaming landscape, cancellation doesn’t always mean goodbye-forever. Just ask the “Dead Boy Detectives” crew or the persistently perky “Girls5eva” gang – both found new streaming sugar daddies after getting the boot. Though that first example might not be the most encouraging, considering Netflix just showed those dead boys the door after one season. (The streaming wars can be brutal, sweeties.)

For now, we’re left with three seasons of groundbreaking television that showed young women as they actually are – gloriously imperfect, occasionally profound, and always fascinating. The halls of Essex College might be quieter now, but something tells me these college girls aren’t done with their education just yet. After all, in both streaming and higher education, it’s not about the fall semester – it’s about making it to graduation.

And darlings? Class dismissed. For now.

  • A breakdown of the drama surrounding ‘Snow White’

A breakdown of the drama surrounding ‘Snow White’

Disney’s “Snow White” doesn’t officially hit theaters here until Friday, but the live-action remake of the Mouse House’s animated classic starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot is already mired in enough controversy to poison a whole barrel of apples.

Though the film’s budget is reportedly somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 million, the premiere celebrations have been uncharacteristically subdued for anything Disney. According to the BBC and Variety, the usual news media outlets weren’t invited to the European premiere earlier this month at Spain’s Alcázar de Segovia, which inspired the design of Snow White’s castle in the 1937 animated film; nor were they invited to the Hollywood screening and party on March 15 at the 998-seat El Capitan Theatre.

Disney hasn’t publicly commented as to why the fanfare around the new film has been hushed, especially in comparison to that surrounding other installments of the Disney live-action remake universe; the studio reportedly spent $140 million on promotion for “Snow White”‘s immediate predecessor, 2023’s “The Little Mermaid.”

However, actor Martin Klebba, who provides the voice of the dwarf Grumpy in the film, commented to The Hollywood Reporter that because of all the controversies surrounding the film, the studio was “afraid of the blowback from different people in society.”

Here’s a quick breakdown of those issues so far.

    Racist comments about Rachel Zegler

The earliest waves of online controversy surrounding “Snow White” arose when Zegler, who is of Colombian and Polish descent, was revealed to have been cast as the title character, who is described as having “skin as white as snow” in the 1937 film. Racist comments circulated on social media against the actor, and some attacked the studio as well, alleging it was forcing diversity into the German fairy tale.

In July 2023, Zegler took to Twitter (now X), thanking her fans for defending her and referring to those comments as “nonsensical.” Her defenders included Halle Bailey, the Black actress who had also been the target of racist comments for her role as Ariel in Disney’s live-action “The Little Mermaid.”

In an October 2024 interview with Variety, Zegler explained that the 2025 film’s character gets her name not from the color of her skin, but from her having survived a snowstorm as an infant.

Zegler’s criticism of the original film

Some commenters attacked Zegler for seeming ungrateful or disrespectful after she candidly voiced her opinions about aspects of the 1937 film at the 2022 D23 Expo, saying that the original story was “extremely dated when it comes to the ideas of women being in roles of power” and teasing that in the remake, Snow White is “dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be” more than she is about finding love. In a later interview with Vogue Mexico, Zegler attributed the blowback from those comments to strong feelings for the movie, saying it was an honor to be part of something so many people were passionate about.

On Monday, Zegler posted a photograph of herself to Instagram with her hair in voluminous curls as a tribute to Adriana Caselotti, who provided the singing and speaking voice of Snow White in the original, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” Disney’s first feature-length animated film.

    View this post on Instagram

A post shared by rachel zegler (@rachelzegler)

    The film’s portrayal of dwarfs

Speaking on comedian Marc Maron’s podcast in January 2022, actor Peter Dinklage said he was taken aback by Disney’s pride in casting a Latina actor as Snow White while “still making that [expletive] backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together.” Days later, Disney announced the film’s team was “taking a different approach with these seven characters” to “avoid reinforcing stereotypes present in the original animated film,” and had been consulting with “members of the dwarfism community.”

The dwarf characters, which Disney described as “magical creatures” in its casting materials for the 2025 film, are rendered with CGI. Klebba is the only actor with dwarfism among the voice actors portraying the septet.

    And then there’s politics

Zegler, 23, whose public profile ascended after her appearance as Maria in 2021’s “West Side Story,” is known for being politically outspoken, and she drew ire from conservative commentators such as Megyn Kelly shortly after the 2024 election of Donald Trump when she posted on social media that Trump and his supporters should “never know peace.” She later apologized for those comments. Going back even further, she has been vocal about her support for Palestinian rights since at least 2021. More recently, she has expressed support for a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, urging her followers on social media to donate to emergency aid in Gaza.

Gadot, 39, who plays the Evil Queen opposite Zegler’s Snow White, has expressed pride for both her home country of Israel and its armed forces, in which she served as a fitness instructor for two years, several times over the years. At the beginning of March, she received an award from the Anti-Defamation League for international leadership at the organization’s summit in New York City, and during her acceptance speech, she expressed her horror at having seen Americans “celebrating, justifying and cheering on a massacre of Jews” after Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, sparking the ongoing war.

Speculation has simmered since early 2024 about awkwardness or even outright hostility between Zegler and Gadot behind the scenes due to their stances on Israeli-Palestinian issues. The two actors appear to be professional and cordial toward each other in public while on the media tour for “Snow White,” posing for some photos together at the Hollywood premiere and promoting the film individually on social media.

Both actors agree on one thing: They’re proud of their work on the film. “Bringing this legendary villain to life was a blast!,” Gadot wrote on Instagram alongside a reel of clips from the Hollywood premiere. And Zegler made a surprise appearance to speak to an audience at a recent advance screening, saying “I love [Snow White] and I am so glad to see that so many of you love her as well.”

Black Swan’s Darren Aronofsky reportedly in talks to direct Netflix’s new take on Stephen King horror Cujo

Netflix’s new take on Stephen King horror Cujo might have just found its director in Black Swan’s Darren Aronofsky. No writer or actors have been linked to the project just yet.

According to a report published by The Insneider, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker is believed to be in negotiations to helm the flick and given his previous works, which include Requiem for a Dream, The Whale, and mother!, we can only imagine the psychological torment he’ll put us through if he does.

Published in 1981, Cujo explores the tragic fallout of a once-friendly Saint Bernard being bitten by rabid bats, after he chases a rabbit down a bolt hole and runs into a bunch of the bloodsuckers. The encounter turns the eponymous pooch into a killer canine, who soon sets his sights on stay-at-home mom Donna and her four-year-old son Tad, after terrorizing the rest of the small town.

The pair retreat to Donna’s tiny car for safety, but with the gnashing, bloodthirsty beast pacing outside, can they cling onto their wits as well as their lives? Two years later, The Cat’s Eye’s Lewis Teague adapted the story into a feature-length picture starring Dee Wallace, Daniel Hugh Kelly, and Danny Pintauro. Despite mixed reviews, its modest box office takings, and its controversial twist on King’s original ending, the film has earned a cult following in the 42 years since its release.

Whoever winds up directing it, Cujo is set to mark Netflix’s fifth movie based on King’s works, following Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, 1922, In the Tall Grass, and Gerald’s Game. The streamer also released a TV show inspired by The Mist in 2017.

Aronofsky recently wrapped filming on thriller Caught Stealing, which sees Austin Butler play Henry “Hank” Thompson, a former baseball champ who gets mixed up in New York City’s criminal underbelly in the early 1990s.

Gal Gadot’s Walk of Fame Ceremony Disrupted by Confrontation Between Pro-Palestine and Pro-Israeli Protesters, Police Respond

CAA Expands Media and Entertainment Partnerships Department With 3 New Key Hires (EXCLUSIVE) 1 day ago

Gal Gadot’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony Tuesday was disrupted by both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel protesters.

Several dozen protesters showed up just before the ceremony was due to get underway, with the pro-Palestinian protesters holding signs that read “Heros Fight Like Palestinians,” “Viva Viva Palestina” and “No Other Land Won Oscar.”

As with the “Snow White” premiere early this week, the area on Hollywood Boulevard was tented off, and fully not visible from the street, but that didn’t deter the protesters from coming out and causing significant disruption.

The crowd shouted, “Up up with liberation, down down with occupation” and “Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel’s crime.”

Roma Ealaicos, who stood across the street from the tented area told Variety, “We’re all really upset about what’s happening in Gaza right now. From the last year and a half, and especially in the last 24-48 hours, 400 innocent people have been killed by the Israeli military, unprovoked.” He went on to say, “There’s no reason we should be celebrating an Israeli,” referring to Gadot.

He expressed his disappointment in the actress for not using her platform and for “keeping her head in the sand.” “She has the ability to learn and read the same books that we read. There’s just no excuse.”

The crowd of protesters grew to over two dozen on each side.

Content creator Dana Nikri was holding an Israeli flag. Speaking with Variety, Nikri recalled how her friends had gone to the Nova Music Festival on Oct. 7, 2023, saying they were “murdered.” “They come [to] our home and take us from our home and give us dead children,” she said, adding, “We don’t start war, we don’t want war at all.”

The ceremony finally got underway, starting 15 minutes late. The protesters could still be heard chanting throughout, and police arrived on the scene after a pro-Palestinian protester stole an Israeli flag.

Gadot was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony emceed by Steve Nissen, with “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins, “Fast and Furious” star Vin Diesel and Shira Haas also making appearances to laud Gadot.

“I’m just a girl from a town in Israel,” Gadot said as she stepped up to the podium. She thanked Diesel and Jenkins.

The actor is set to star as the Evil Queen in Disney’s upcoming “Snow White” live-action remake, featuring Rachel Zegler as the titular poison apple princess.

Gadot, who is Israeli, has been an outspoken supporter of Israel on social media, as well as in a passionate speech she delivered on March 4 when she was honored at the Anti-Defamation League’s annual summit in New York City. “Never did I imagine that on the streets of the United States, and different cities around the world, we would see people not condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying and cheering on a massacre of Jews,” she said, in part.

Speaking to Variety ahead of her Walk of Fame ceremony, Gadot emphasized that, while she previously stayed away from politics, she felt compelled to speak up following Hamas’ terror attack on Oct. 7, 2023. “When people were abducted from their homes, from their beds, men, women, children, elderly, Holocaust survivors, were going through the horrors of what happened that day, I could not be silent. I was shocked by the amount of hate, by the amount of how much people think they know when they actually have no idea, and also by how the media is not fair many times. So I had to speak up.”

Even after fielding criticism for some of her statements, she insisted, “When your compass is clear, your conscience is clean. I know what I’m advocating for, and I know what I wish for the world.”

Gadot isn’t the only Disney star who’s faced pushback from protesters recently. Last month, several dozen pro-Palestine protesters gathered outside the Hollywood premiere of “Captain America: Brave New World” and called for a boycott of the film over its inclusion of the Israeli superhero Ruth Bat-Seraph, aka Sabra, played by Israeli actress Haas. Protesters held signs that read “Sabra has got to go,” “Disney supports genocide,” “Boycott ‘Captain America’” and “Pray 4 Princess Jasmine.” They chanted phrases such as “Free, free, free Palestine” and “Disney, Disney you can’t hide.”

Pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for Israeli actor Gal Gadot on Tuesday, delaying the event and inciting police response.

According to Variety, pro-Palestinian protesters held signs that read “Heroes Fight Like Palestinians,” “Viva Viva Palestina” and “No Other Land Won Oscar,” referring to the documentary on Israeli incursions onto Palestinian land in the West Bank that won the award for best documentary this month.

A video posted to X by Variety reporter Katcy Stephan shows protesters chanting “shame on Gal Gadot”. Another showed multiple protesters handcuffed by police. The crowd also shouted: “Up up with liberation, down down with occupation” and “not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel’s crime.” Variety reported that nearly two dozen protesters gathered for each side.

The demonstrations delayed the ceremony by about 15 minutes. Protesters could still be heard as the proceedings got underway, and police were called after a pro-Palestinian protester stole an Israeli flag.

Gadot, who stars as the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action Snow White, served in the Israeli military and has vocally supported Israel since the 7 October terrorist attacks and subsequent invasion of Gaza, both on social media and in an impassioned speech before the Anti-Defamation League’s annual summit on 4 March. “Never did I imagine that on the streets of the United States, and different cities around the world, we would see people not condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying and cheering on a massacre of Jews,” she said in her speech.

Speaking to Variety ahead of Tuesday’s ceremony, Gadot described how she became more direct with her politics after the Hamas-led attack on Israeli citizens on 7 October 2023. “When people were abducted from their homes, from their beds, men, women, children, elderly, Holocaust survivors, were going through the horrors of what happened that day, I could not be silent,” she said. “I was shocked by the amount of hate, by the amount of how much people think they know when they actually have no idea, and also by how the media is not fair many times. So I had to speak up.”

“I am all about humanity,” she continued, “and I felt like I had to advocate for the hostages.” As for criticism of her stances, she added: “when your compass is clear, your conscience is clean. I know what I’m advocating for, and I know what I wish for the world.”

Gadot steered clear of the issue during her ceremony, instead thanking Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel, and referring to herself as “just a girl from a town in Israel”.

The demonstrations precede the opening weekend for Snow White, which has faced its own fair share of controversy in the weeks leading up to its release. Speculation of a rift between Gadot and co-star Rachel Zegler, who is vocally pro-Palestine, flared after Disney scaled back last weekend’s world premiere, limiting interviews to in-house, talent-friendly press. Zegler has also received flak for publicly criticizing the original 1937 version of Snow White, and wishing on Instagram that Donald Trump and his voters “know no peace” after the November election. She since apologized.

Gadot is also not the only Disney star to face criticism for their stance on Israel-Palestine. Last month, several dozen pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside the Hollywood premiere of Captain America: Brave New World, calling for a boycott of the film over the inclusion of Israeli superhero Ruth Bat-Seraph, aka Sabra, played by Israeli actor Shira Haas.

They held signs with such slogans as “Disney supports genocide.” In a joint letter, some Palestinian cultural groups complained: “By reviving this racist character in any form, Marvel is promoting Israel’s brutal oppression of Palestinians.”
