Comedian Tracy Morgan ‘doing okay’ after vomiting on court at Knicks game

Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan is “doing okay” after he got visibly sick at an NBA game in New York on Monday night and left in a wheelchair.

The “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock” star vomited during the game between the New York Knicks and Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden. Morgan, 56, was then taken away in a wheelchair while holding a towel over his face.

The incident delayed the game for about 10 minutes to allow the area to be cleaned before the game resumed.

Morgan took to social media Tuesday morning and assured everyone he was okay, and that he simply had food poisoning.

“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” Morgan said in the Instagram post. “Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”

Morgan has diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant back in 2010. The New York native also suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2014 during a deadly six-vehicle car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The Knicks went on to beat the Heat, 116-95. In classic Tracy Morgan fashion, he turned his incident into a joke about the win.

“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court,” Morgan said on Instagram. “So maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”

Netflix has released the debut trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, which hits the streamer on July 25, 2025.

In the trailer, below, we see Adam Sandler return to the Happy Gilmore role almost 30 years after the original movie’s 1996 release, alongside original Happy Gilmore stars Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, and Christopher McDonald, the latter of whom once again plays nemesis shooter McGavin.

We also see new co-stars Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (aka Bad Bunny), daughters Sadie and Sunny Sandler, and Blake Clark. There’s even a fun SpongeBob squarepants reference at the start of the trailer.

Netflix confirmed the professional golfers set to appear in the film, including John Daly, Paige Spiranac, Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, and Will Zalatoris. NFL star Travis Kelce also cameos.

The Happy Gilmore 2 cast includes:

Rapper Eminem isn’t on Netflix’s current cast list, despite Sandler revealing his cameo late last year. Perhaps the streamer is saving his reveal for the next trailer.

Here’s Netflix’s official recap of the original Happy Gilmore, in case you’ve forgotten what happened all those years ago.

At the end of the original Happy Gilmore, Sandler’s titular character was finally at rest after a long, strenuous season of golf (and one knockdown brawl with The Price Is Right’s Bob Barker). On a mission to raise enough money to pay the IRS for his grandmother’s years of delinquent back taxes (oops), the failed hockey player took his skills on the road as the most unorthodox golf player the Tour Championship had ever seen.

Along the way, Happy made allies (the late, great Carl Weathers’ one-handed Chubbs Petersen and a homeless caddy played by Allen Covert) and enemies (Christopher McDonald’s arrogant Shooter McGavin and the aforementioned Bob Barker), but he ultimately triumphed in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. He showed the golf snobs who’s boss, saved his grandmother’s house, and returned home at last.

It’s currently unclear how the film will resurrect Gilmore’s golf career, but one thing’s for sure: In the real world, at least, Happy Gilmore is a legend. Even the world’s best golfers agree.

We first learned that Happy Gilmore 2 was in the works back in March 2024 before Netflix announced in May that it had officially ordered the sequel. It’s being directed by Kyle Newacheck from a script by Sandler and Tim Herlihy.

Tracy Morgan breaks silence from hospital bed and reveals cause of vomiting at Knicks game – The Mirror

Comedian Tracy Morgan faced a medical scare on Monday night during the Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat when he was escorted out of the venue due to nausea and a nosebleed

Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan has broken his silence after he was rushed out of a Knicks game on St Patricks Day.

The 56-year-old is a dedicated New York Knicks fan, but on Monday night, he had to be taken out of the game at Madison Square Garden in a wheelchair after experiencing nausea and a nosebleed while sitting courtside.

A social media post from a bystander captured the moment, showing the 56-year-old visibly unwell during the Knicks’ matchup against the Miami Heat. In the image, a man in a black t-shirt and blue Knicks cap can be seen next to Morgan, showing concern.

A video of the incident later surfaced, revealing multiple MSG staff members assisting Morgan, who appeared to be struggling to get into a wheelchair while dealing with a nosebleed. “Tracy Morgan getting wheeled out from courtside at MSG…bleeding from nose…could barely stand up…hope he’s ok,” one X user shared, alongside video footage of the scene.

Following the incident, Tracy has now broken his silence. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the comedian shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed with several wires and tubes surrounding his body.

Despite his health woes, the comedian appeared in high spirits as he flashed a smile at the camera and gave a thumbs up. Sharing the health update with his concerned fans, he wrote: “Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning.

“Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you. More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”

The game was briefly halted as staff cleaned up and attended to Morgan’s medical needs off the court. Morgan is a frequent presence at Knicks games, with his usual courtside seat positioned next to MSG Network broadcasters Kenny Albert and Walter Clyde Frazier, who were calling the game that night.

An MSG spokesperson expressed well-wishes, saying, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” Morgan, known for his roles on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, has been a loyal Knicks supporter since childhood, growing up in The Bronx. Throughout his life, he has faced various health challenges, including diabetes, alcohol issues, and a kidney transplant in 2010.

  • Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal Fight For Dakota Johnson in Smoldering First ‘Materialists’ Trailer

Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal Fight For Dakota Johnson in Smoldering First ‘Materialists’ Trailer

Celine Song’s follow up to her celebrated 2023 hit Past Lives has just dropped its first trailer and it looks like being a bit of a heartbreaker, actually. Materialists, a new A24 film, stars Dakota Johnson as Lucy, a successful matchmaker in New York City who finds herself caught up in an unexpected love triangle with a wealthy new client, played by Pedro Pascal, and her ex, played by a super vulnerable Chris Evans. That’s a pretty smokin’ trio if you ask us. The trailer has a few laughs but it also has quite a melancholic feel to it, and this one could end up being just as memorable.

From the introspective drama of Past Lives, Materialists looks like being something a bit frothier and mainstream, but perhaps just as effective. It’s been described as blending films like Hitch with the works of James L. Brooks and honestly, we can see where that comparison would come from. The supporting cast includes Zoë Winters, Marin Ireland, Dasha Nekrasova, Louisa Jacobson, and Sawyer Spielberg.

What Else Are The Stars of ‘Materialists’ Making Soon?

2025 will be a very busy year for some of the cast, particularly Pascal. Following after the release of Materialists is going to be the biggest movie of his career to date, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which will open in July. Pascal plays Reed Richards, a role which he will also be playing in Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). He will also star in A24’s contemporary Western black comedy Eddington alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone, scheduled for release later in 2025. Next month, he returns to TV screens as Joel in the second season of HBO’s smash hit video game adaptation, The Last of Us.

Evans, meanwhile, will appear in Ethan Coen’s upcoming detective comedy, Honey Don’t! later this year alongside Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza in what is the latest of Coen and Tricia Cooke’s “lesbian B-movie trilogy” following last year’s Drive-Away Dolls. He’s also currently filming Sacrifice, an action-comedy alongside Anya Taylor-Joy, which sees him as a movie star kidnapped by Taylor-Joy’s religious zealot who thinks sacrificing him will save the world. We’ve all met people like that. Lastly, Johnson is currently filming two movies: Splitsville, a comedy directed and starring Michael Angelo Covino and Adria Arjona, and Verity, a new Colleen Hoover adaptation.

Materialists opens on June 13, 2025. Stay tuned to Collider for all the latest updates on your favorite movies.

Warner Bros. adapted King’s novel to film in 1983 with Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro playing the mother and son, respectively. Despite mixed reviews, Cujo was a modest success at the box office, grossing $21 million against a budget of $6 million. In the years since its release, the movie has gathered a strong cult following.

Netflix announced its intention to adapt Cujo for its streaming service earlier this month, with Roy Lee on board as producer. Lee is a King veteran, having previously produced Warner Bros.’ 2017 adaptation of It and its 2019 sequel, It Chapter Two, as well as Max’s new take on Salem’s Lot in 2024. Hollywood has been adapting the works of King since 1976, when the author’s debut novel Carrie was turned into a movie. While there was a lull in adaptations in the early 2010s, King mania was revived in 2017 following the critical and commercial success of the aforementioned It movie.

Youngbloods frontman Jesse Colin Young, behind hit Get Together, dies aged 83

Jesse Colin Young, best known for his biggest hit Get Together, has died at age 83.

He was the founding member and singer-songwriter of the group Youngbloods, who rose to fame in the 60s.

His wife and manager Connie Young announced he had died in his home in Aiken, South Carolina on Sunday.

Young had been a solo artist with two albums released before he joined forces with Jerry Corbitt, Lowell ‘Banana’ Levinger and drummer Joe Bauer to form Youngbloods.

Youngbloods released a cover of Chet Powers Get Together in 1967, which peaked at number five in the Billboard Hot 100 two years later.

The group embodied the Woodstock generation, singing about peace, love, and brotherhood on their debut album.

In 1972, Youngbloods split with Young going on to release several solo albums featuring tracks like Four in the Morning, Sunlight, and Peace Song.

He continued releasing records under his label Warner Nros well into the 00s, with environment and social activism as the forefront of his message.

Young and his family relocated to Hawaii after losing their home in the Mount Vision fire in California in 1995, he had also just started his own personal label around this time.

After Walk the Talk in 2003 and Living in Paradise in 2004, Young took his longest break since the 60s and paused for 15 years before releasing music again.

During this time he was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, retiring from music except when working with his son Tristan.

Then in 2019, Young recorded Dreamers with his son, who is a bassist, which serves as his final album.

Tributes for the late singer have continued to come in since the announcement.

Radio host Eric Alper shared: ‘Known for Get Together, Darkness, Darkness, Sunlight, and more, his music carried messages of peace and unity that will live on for generations.’

Publicist Danny Deraney said, ‘Rest in Power Jesse Colin Young. His soft tenor voice sold the song Get Together as the anthem for peace in the 1960’s.’

Musician David Maida posted a picture with Young and added, ‘All the great ones are leaving us. Rest In Peace my friend Jesse Colin Young of the Youngbloods.

‘I will miss having coffee hanging backstage and hearing you perform with great impeccable talent! Thanks for the music.’

Tracy Morgan gets sick during Knicks-Heat game at Madison Square Garden

Tracy Morgan got sick during the second half of the Knicks-Heat game Monday night, interrupting the action at Madison Square Garden.

There was a pause in play with 6:09 left in the third quarter while workers cleaned up the area around Morgan’s seat. The delay lasted for more than 10 minutes.

A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden said they hope Morgan feels better soon, and they were looking forward to seeing him back in his courtside seat. Messages were left by the AP seeking comment from Morgan’s representatives.

The 56-year-old actor and comedian, a longtime Knicks fan, was featured prominently during the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary weekend events, at both the “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” and the live “SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration” special.

He also has a forthcoming, untitled comedy pilot on NBC, in which he plays a disgraced former football player looking to remake his image, opposite Daniel Radcliffe.

The Knicks went on to a 116-95 victory, sending the Heat to their first eight-game losing streak of coach Erik Spoelstra’s career. Mikal Bridges scored 28 points, and Josh Hart tied a franchise record with his eighth triple-double this season.

“First and foremost, obviously we hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan,” Hart said after the win. “Avid, lifetime Knick fan so prayers go out to him and his health and safety.”

Next up, the Knicks visit San Antonio on Wednesday.

  • Jonathan Majors Admits To Strangling His Ex In Leaked Audio Clip

Jonathan Majors Admits To Strangling His Ex In Leaked Audio Clip

This comes after the former couple was embroiled in a highly publicized domestic abuse case, which resulted in the actor being found guilty of assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree.

After the legal battle with Grace Jabbari, Jonathan Majors’ acting career took a major hit; however, he’s set to return to screens with a new movie.

A recently unearthed audio obtained by Rolling Stone features Majors and his ex, Jabbari, talking after what appeared to be a fight between them.

The September 2022 audio saw the former Marvel star seemingly admit to choking Jabbari and being aggressive with her.

“I’m ashamed [as] I’ve ever [been] …,” Majors said in the footage. “I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.”

His then-girlfriend interjected, “You strangled me and pushed me against the car.”

“Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah,” Majors replied. “That’s never happened to me.”

Jabbari then asked Majors if she had something that made him get violent with her.

“Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?” the professional dancer asked.

“Well, clearly, it’s more than that,” Majors said in response, prompting Jabbari to add, “Something inside of you.”

“Yeah, towards you,” the actor noted as the recording ended.

In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of one misdemeanor assault charge and one harassment violation after a March 2023 fight he had with Jabbari.

However, he was cleared of charges of aggravated harassment and assault with intent to cause physical harm.

The actor evaded jail time in the judgment and was required to participate in 52 weeks of therapy for domestic violence programming.

Due to the legal battle, Majors lost many projects, including his role as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel franchise.

He has since been on a path to redeem his career and is set to play a lead role in Martin Villeneuve’s upcoming horror film, “Merciless.”

Majors’ film, “Magazine Dreams,” will also be hitting theaters on March 21.

Multiple women have also accused Majors of assault and harassment. According to a New York Times report, several of the actor’s former girlfriends, colleagues, and film set workers have shared accounts of their negative experiences with Majors.

In pretrial statements to the prosecution against Majors for Jabbari’s case and in interviews with the publication, Emma Duncan, a former girlfriend, accused Majors of emotionally and physically abusing her.

Duncan claimed the “Creed III” actor choked her, threw her around, and bruised her on several occasions.

She said that dating him was a straight road to losing “your sense of worth.”

Another ex-girlfriend, Maura Hooper, also told NYT that Majors had emotionally abused her during their relationship. Both women are actresses who dated Majors before he rose to fame.

In the New York Times report, Majors was described as a “controlling, threatening figure who isolated” his partners from all their friends and career pursuits.

From interviews with actors and film set workers, it was alleged that Majors was known for his volatility on the set of the HBO series “Lovecraft Country.”

During his time on the set, he reportedly had multiple confrontations with female co-workers that led them to file a complaint to the network.

Responding to the claims made in the report, Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chauhdry, said, “Mr. Majors is a method actor, well-respected for his ability to immerse himself in character. Countless female producers, co-stars, and members on set can attest to his professionalism.”

During his court battles, one person who consistently stood by Majors’ side during his trials was his partner, Meagan Good.

Late last year, it was confirmed that the duo had gotten engaged. Though the exact timing of the proposal remains unclear, Majors and Good made their engagement known during their appearance at the Ebony Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles.

When asked about their relationship, the actress boldly declared they were “in love” and called Majors “the one.”

According to TMZ, she also flashed a stunning diamond ring on her finger, which drew cheers from the paparazzi.
