Justin Baldoni Just Published 2 Years Worth Of ‘It Ends With Us’ Messages As Blake Lively Feud Unfolds

Here’s everything we know about Justin Baldoni’s website amid his legal battle with It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively.

Justin Baldoni’s website features more information on what led to his legal battle with Blake Lively.

Justin Baldoni’s new website, called TheLawsuitInfo.com, features two options on its homepage: the Amended Complaint against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and a Timeline of Relevant Events, which begins with Justin emailing author Colleen Hoover about an It Ends With Us adaptation on January 1, 2019.

A text exchange on February 9, 2023 between the two actors features Blake, who gave birth to fourth baby Olin that same month, thanked Justin for his friendship. “Thank you for the friendship side,” she said in a text, to which he replied, “For real I was worried about you — that’s so much to hold. I’m really happy for you. I bet you feel 1000 lbs lighter.”

“Only 20 to go,” she responded. Justin disliked the message, and later encouraged Blake when she asked about saving their intimate scenes for the end of filming.

“I want you to know, you will look amazing. Anything you are insecure about we will talk through and get creative together and make you comfortable,” he says in a February 17 text. “I just don’t want you to stress about your body. It’s the last thing you need. As soon as I have a rough schedule that’s even remotely accurate I’ll share and I’ll make sure the team keeps this in mind as well.”

The timeline continues with dozens of additional text exchanges, from talking to Ryan Reynolds about arranging filming schedules to accommodate his daughters (which ends with “I happen to adore you Justin,” FYI) to sending Blake Lively recommendations for getting over strep throat.

  • Kanye West’s Wife Bianca Censori Nakedly Shocks Grammys in Nude ‘Outfit’ as Couple Flashes Through Red Carpet

Kanye West’s Wife Bianca Censori Nakedly Shocks Grammys in Nude ‘Outfit’ as Couple Flashes Through Red Carpet

Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori easily had the biggest red carpet reveal at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday when Censori dropped her fur coat to reveal literally everything underneath.

The couple walked up to have their photos taken on the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena ahead of the awards ceremony, with Kanye in all black and sunglasses, and Bianca wearing a floor-length fur coat.

As they posed for the cameras, 30-year-old Bianca turned her back toward the onlookers before sliding the coat back off her shoulders and to the floor to reveal an entirely see-through slip dress, with apparently nothing on beneath it.

This is censored but viewer discretion is nevertheless advised.

They posed for about two minutes, with Censori parading back and forth, before walking off camera.

Page Six reports the stunt was intended to “to replicate the album cover of ‘Vultures,’” a 2024 album cover with Censori in a similar pose and lack of attire.

And while that outlet and others are reporting from sources that Censori and West were escorted off the premises by police, a source at the Grammy Awards speaking to Variety anonymously said that story is not true.

Many commenters on social media have described this and other pubic nudity by Censori as a deliberate degradation or “humiliation ritual” imposed by West on his wife, while others have described both of them as attention-seekers. And although others suggested Censori had certain areas covered, that does not appear to be the case in the uncensored footage.

Still others are questioning whether the stunt violated California law regarding public indecency.

The ploy that nobody expected and even fewer seemingly wanted drew almost no positive reactions in media or online. West has become a virtual pariah in entertainment and politics over his grotesque and public anti-Semitism and embrace of Nazism among other gross and offensive acts in the last several years.

  • Karla Sofía Gascón: Emilia Pérez star to stay in Oscars race despite row

Karla Sofía Gascón: Emilia Pérez star to stay in Oscars race despite row

She added: “I cannot step down from an Oscar nomination because I have not committed any crime, nor have I harmed anyone.”

Gascón stars opposite Zoe Saldana, who is also in the running for best supporting actress, in the film about a Mexican drug lord who changes gender.

The film leads the way with 13 Oscar nominations.

However, Gascón has since been embroiled in a storm over the old posts, which also touched on subjects including the death of George Floyd and diversity at the Oscars.

The posts from X, largely from 2020 and 2021 when it was known as Twitter, were unearthed by journalist Sarah Hagi, and subsequently reported in Variety.

Gascón subsequently deactivated her account on X and apologised for the posts.

“As someone in a marginalised community, I know this suffering all too well and I am deeply sorry to those I have caused pain,” the actress said in a statement last week via Netflix, which is quoted in the Associated Press.

“All my life I have fought for a better world. I believe light will always triumph over darkness.”

Gascón told CNN she offered her “most sincere apologies to all the people who may have felt offended”.

However, she added: “I am neither racist nor anything that all these people have tried to make others believe I am.”

Gascón said she did not “recognise” some of the posts that have been found, and said she had not been given an opportunity to defend herself.

She also denied writing a derogatory post about Emilia Pérez co-star Selena Gomez.

“It’s not mine, of course, I have never said anything about my colleague, I would never refer to her that way,” Gascón said.

Emilia Pérez is the most-nominated non-English language film of all time. It is a French production set mostly in Mexico and mostly acted in Spanish.

Gascón is nominated for best actress for the film’s lead role, making her the first trans person to be nominated in an acting category (although Elliot Page was nominated for Juno in 2008, before the actor transitioned).

The film has not set Netflix alight so far and has divided opinion among those who have watched it. It has also caused controversy in Mexico, because of its depiction of the country.

Despite this, Oscar voters have given it a resounding seal of approval.

However, film critics have warned that the controversy over Gascón’s tweets may threaten the film’s overall chances at this year’s Academy Awards, which take place overnight Sunday 2 March into Monday 3 March UK time.

BBC News has approached Gascón’s representatives and Netflix for a comment.

  • Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan Use Grammys To Defend Trans Rights After Trump Attacks

Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan Use Grammys To Defend Trans Rights After Trump Attacks

Lady Gaga used the Grammys stage to declare that transgender people are “not invisible” on Sunday after President Donald Trump’s attacks on the community since his inauguration.

“Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up. Music is love,” said Gaga after winning the Grammy in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for her Bruno Mars collaboration “Die With a Smile.”

Gaga has previously spoken out against Trump’s attacks on the trans community and, in an interview with Elle UK published last week, vowed that LGBTQ+ allies were “not going down without a fight” after the president’s election win.

“We will stick together. It’s going to be hard but I’m up for it. We’re up for it. And I just want everyone to know how deeply they’re loved and not invisible,” Gaga told the magazine.

Chappell Roan, who won Best New Artist among her six nominations, also used the occasion to acknowledge that it’s “brutal” for LGBTQ+ people before focusing her attention on the trans community.

“Trans people have always existed and they will forever exist, and they will never, no matter what happens, take trans joy away,” said Roan in an interview with GLAAD red carpet correspondents Chrishell Stause and Anthony Allen Ramos prior to the show.

The artist — who identifies as lesbian and is seen as a champion of the queer community — added, “I would not be here without trans girls, so just know that pop music is thinking about you and cares about you, and I’m trying my best to stand up for you in every way that I can.”

  • Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal battle intensifies with new lawsuit website, texts and 1st court hearing

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal battle intensifies with new lawsuit website, texts and 1st court hearing

Lawyers for the feuding former “It Ends With Us” co-stars are in court Feb. 3.

Attorneys for Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have their first court hearing on Feb. 3 for the It Ends With Us drama, but that’s just one of several new developments in the case.

Over the weekend, Baldoni’s legal team filed an amended lawsuit against Lively, who he’s suing for $400 million, alongside her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for civil extortion, defamation and invasion of privacy. They also launched a website with documents related to the case.

Lively initiated the legal battle, first with a complaint and then a lawsuit, alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her on the set of the 2024 film, which was based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, and then launched a smear campaign against her when she spoke up. Baldoni directed the film and played Lively’s love interest.

Neither Lively nor Baldoni is expected to be present for the hearing, according to CNN.

New York federal Judge Lewis J. Liman told both sides to be prepared to address complaints about attorney conduct and pretrial publicity, with the possibility that a gag order might be imposed. Lively’s lawyers have accused Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, of making “misleading and selective” public statements about Lively in a public PR campaign, which could taint a jury pool. Baldoni’s legal team accused Lively of a publicity campaign that left him and other defendants the “objects of public scorn and contempt.”

Another issue due to be discussed is when Lively will be deposed. Baldoni’s team said they wanted it to be as soon as possible but claimed her lawyers indicated she wouldn’t agree to have her deposition conducted by Freedman, because of “unspecified statements” he had made.

Lively and Baldoni’s lawsuits against each other will likely be combined into one case for trial, which is expected to begin in March 2026. However, attorneys for Lively and Reynolds indicated that they intend to file a motion to dismiss Baldoni’s lawsuit.

On Jan. 31, Baldoni’s lawyers filed a 224-page amended lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, the New York Times and Lively’s publicist Leslie Sloane, alleging that they colluded to smear him.

Freedman said in a statement to Variety, “This fresh evidence corroborates what we knew all along, that due to purely egotistical reasons Ms. Lively and her entire team colluded for months to destroy reputations through a complex web of lies, false accusations and the manipulation of illicitly received communications.”

The new allegations include the claim that the New York Times had access to Lively’s civil rights complaint, which outlined her sexual harassment allegations, before it was filed on Dec. 20, for the story it published on Dec. 21. Baldoni’s attorneys said metadata discovered by online readers showed that a “message-embed-generator” used in the article to display text messages sent by Baldoni and his publicity team “referred to a date of ‘2024-10-31.’” They claim the PDF of the complaint was uploaded on Dec. 10 and a video accompanying the story was finalized on Dec. 12, per metadata.

A spokesperson for the New York Times denied to TMZ that the outlet “had early access to Ms. Lively’s state civil rights complaint.” They said the date was generated by Google software and was unrelated to the date when the outlet received it. “Baldoni’s lawyers base[d] their erroneous claim on postings by amateur internet sleuths, who, not surprisingly, are wrong,” the statement said.

Another addition to the amended complaint was the allegation about Reynolds allegedly mocking Baldoni with his Deadpool & Wolverine character Nicepool. The lawsuit claims the scene was shot in January 2024, after Baldoni alleged he was called to Lively and Reynolds’s penthouse, where Lively read him a list of grievances and Reynolds allegedly berated Baldoni.

“Reynolds portrayed Nicepool as a vicious caricature of a ‘woke’ feminist before concluding the character’s arc with his violent shooting death at the hands of ‘Ladypool,’ a character voiced by Blake Lively,” Baldoni’s lawsuit stated. It also claimed Nicepool “intended to be a transparent and mocking portrayal of Reynolds’s warped perception of Baldoni.”

The members of Baldoni’s legal team said they planned to publicly share documents related to the case on a dedicated website aimed at defending the filmmaker against Lively’s allegations, and followed through on Friday.

The website, titled Lawsuit Info, has the amended complaint as well as a 168-page “Timeline of Relevant Events” related to the dispute and the film’s production. It begins with an email from Baldoni to Hoover on Jan. 1, 2019, about the It Ends With Us book, and ends with the claim about the New York Times metadata on Jan. 29, 2025.

Included were previously unseen — and unverified — text messages, including one Lively sent to Baldoni in April 2023 discussing a rewrite of the movie’s rooftop scene.

“if you knew me (in person) longer you’d have a sense of how flirty and yummy the ball busting will play. It’s my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth….,” she allegedly texted Baldoni.

Another was purportedly sent from Reynolds to Baldoni in February 2023, saying how excited he was for Lively to work with Baldoni.

“I’m excited for Blake to crack open her creative piggy bank with someone as dynamic as you. This is gonna be INCREDIBLE. I happen to adore you, Justin,” Reynolds allegedly wrote.

Baldoni, who claimed he was steamrolled by Lively in a bid for creative control of the film, also claimed the actress declined to meet with the intimacy coordinator for the film. He shared notes from that meeting.

“These notes would later become the basis for Lively’s Complaint, in which she states that Baldoni would talk about his own sex life and insert gratuitous scenes with Lively’s character orgasming,” Baldoni’s timeline stated. “As seen in the notes, these mentions come directly from the intimacy coordinator’s notes. … Ideally, these conversations would have taken place directly between Lively and the intimacy coordinator directly, as Baldoni had requested; however, Lively declined to meet with her.”

Baldoni also claimed Reynolds had him fired from their mutual agency, WME, which WME has denied. The timeline on the website states that Baldoni’s production company was “informed that Reynolds contacted Baldoni’s personal agent at WME” on July 15, 2024, and called Baldoni “a ‘deranged predator.’” It also claimed that Reynolds “approached a senior executive at WME” at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere after-party on July 22 and said, “the agency is working with a ‘sexual predator.’”

Baldoni also published on the website a statement he claimed Lively and Reynolds demanded that he release in August 2024. This was around the time of the premiere, as rumors ran rampant of infighting between the co-stars. Baldoni said he refused to issue the statement.

“It Ends With Us was a troubled production which we take full accountability for,” the alleged statement ran. “We are very sorry to everyone we caused upset to privately and publicly. Blake Lively, Colleen Hoover, the entire cast and crew led with professionalism every step of the way, any negativity aimed at them is ours to own. We mutually agreed that the cast would be promoting the film separately and understood why.”

The website launch followed the release by Baldoni’s team of a 10-minute clip of a slow-dancing scene Baldoni and Lively shot for the film. Baldoni also included some texts in his lawsuits against the NYT and Lively.

Lively’s initial lawsuit against Baldoni also included texts. Baldoni asserted that he was smeared by the news outlet and Lively because they took texts that he had sent and reported them out of context.

With multiple lawsuits and even more plaintiffs, here’s a quick guide to the legal battle…

Aug. 9, 2024: It Ends With Us hits theaters. Ahead of its release, there were rumors of a feud between the director-actor and actress.

Dec. 20, 2024: Lively files a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department.

Dec. 21, 2024: The New York Times story, “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine” comes out with texts purportedly showing Baldoni’s alleged campaign to tarnish Lively’s reputation after she accused him of misconduct.

Dec. 31, 2024: Lively officially files a federal lawsuit against Baldoni, his Wayfarer Studios and his publicists, alleging she was retaliated against for reporting the misconduct.

Baldoni and his publicists file a $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times for libel over the article.

Jan. 16, 2024: Baldoni countersues Lively, Reynolds and her publicist for $400 million, accusing them of defamation.

Jan. 31, 2024: Baldoni files an amended complaint against Lively, Reynolds, her publicist and the New York Times and launches his lawsuit website.

  • Why Diddy was secretly taken to a New York Hospital for a scan – Face2Face Africa

Why Diddy was secretly taken to a New York Hospital for a scan – Face2Face Africa

Embattled music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly sneaked into a Brooklyn hospital from jail to undergo an MRI scan on his knee.

A source told Page Six that Combs, who is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, was transported to the Brooklyn Hospital on Thursday night for the procedure. The source said Combs, 55, started experiencing knee issues after he partook in the New York Marathon, adding that authorities gave the green light for him to undergo the scan because he was having problems with his knee .

The source also explained that Combs was transported to the hospital late at night because officials did not want fellow inmates or prison staffers to make assumptions among themselves. Combs was returned to jail after the scan, and he did not spend the night at the medical facility, the New York Post reported.

“For privacy, safety, and security reasons we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in our custody to include medical status or medical trips,” a Bureau of Prisons spokesperson told the news outlet.

Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, also told TMZ that he could not “comment on anything related to prisoner movements.” “Also, I’m not commenting on anything related to possible medical issues,” he added.

As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, Combs was arrested by federal agents on September 16 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs, who entered a not-guilty plea, is being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial date has been set for May 5, 2025. But the Bad Boy Records founder is additionally facing multiple sexual assault lawsuits.

The embattled music executive’s legal woes started after CNN shared a video of him assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. The rapper and music executive had initially denied allegations of rape and abuse from Cassie. But he later issued an apology on social media after the circulation of the video.

Combs and Cassie started dating in 2007 and had an on-and-off relationship for over 10 years. The American music mogul signed Cassie to his label in 2005 when she was 19 and he was 37.

And Cassie, now 38, initially filed a lawsuit in New York federal court alleging that Combs brought her into his “ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle” after she met him. The lawsuit further alleged that Combs was “prone to uncontrollable rage” and physically abused her during their relationship including punching, beating, kicking, and stomping on her.

It alleged that Combs urged Cassie to use drugs and forced her to have sex with other men while he masturbated and filmed. The lawsuit was later dismissed after both parties reached an undisclosed settlement.

The Weeknd’s boycott of Grammys ends in shocking performance with Playboi Carti

Toronto megastar The Weeknd shocked the crowd at the 2025 Grammy Awards, ending his years-long boycott of the music industry awards show with a surprise performance alongside Playboi Carti.

The Weeknd took the stage on Sunday night’s 67th Annual Grammy Awards with performances of “Cry for Me” and “Timeless” featuring Playboi Carti, who will be touring alongside the Toronto-born artist.

The Weeknd had been boycotting the annual music awards show since 2021, when he publicly rebuked the Recording Academy and vowed not to participate in the Grammys after his 2020 album After Hours was snubbed.

So, naturally, it came as a bit of a shock to the star-studded crowd at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles when Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. came out to acknowledge and apologize for The Weeknd’s concerns about representation in the music industry, and personally introduced the platinum-certified artist.

Mason explained that the Academy has “changed” since the famous snub, noting that “We’ve launched initiatives like the Black Music Collective, Women in the Mix, Academy Proud, and others.”

“We have completely re-made our membership, adding more than 3,000 women voting members. The Grammy electorate is now younger, nearly 40 per cent people of colour, and 66 per cent of our members are new since we started our transformation.”

The Weeknd dazzled the celebrity-packed crowd with a dramatic performance featuring impressive lighting and choreography featuring dozens of dancers.

The artist was also nominated in the “Best Melodic Rap Performance” category for his appearance on Future’s “We Still Don’t Trust You” alongside Metro Boomin, though the award went to “3:AM” – Rapsody featuring Erykah Badu.

‘I’m not racist’: Emilia Perez star breaks down in tears in TV interview

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Karla Sofía Gascón, the Oscar-nominated star of Emilia Perez, broke down in tears during an emotional interview addressing the recent controversy over resurfaced social media posts.

The 52-year-old actor is in contention for Best Actress at the Academy Awards, for her role as a transgender crime boss in the polarising Netflix musical. However, in the past week, her awards campaign has been derailed by mounting backlash to a number of offensive tweets she made over the past five years, including posts about George Floyd, Islam and diversity at the Oscars.

Gascón had previously issued multiple apologies for the posts, and had deleted her account on X/Twitter.

During an hour-long interview with CNN en Español, Gascón broke down in tears as she answered questions about her social media history, telling interviewer Juan Carlos Arciniegas that she was “not a racist”.

Asked if she would renounce her Oscar nomination – the first ever awarded to an openly transgender actor – she said: “I cannot renounce a nomination because what I have done is a job and what is being valued is my acting work.” (Per a translation by THR.)

“I cannot step down from an Oscar nomination because I have not committed any crime nor have I harmed anyone,” she continued. “I am neither racist nor anything that all these people have tried to make others believe I am.”

She addressed the tweet about Floyd, whose murder by a white police officer in 2020 spawned the Black Lives Matter movement. Gascón had described Floyd as a “drug addict and a hustler” in a tweet, writing that “his death has served to highlight once again that there are those who still consider Black people to be monkeys without rights and those who consider the police to be murderers. All wrong.”

Speaking to CNN, Gascón said that her tweet had been misinterpreted: “He was a person who had been in a very difficult situation in his life and no one had helped him, and suddenly he becomes a symbol of a cause and everyone loved him.

“But for someone to think that … I have ever insulted a person because of their skin colour, I do not allow that to anyone, to anyone.”

In regard to several tweets that have been condemned as Islamophobic, Gascón said she had been voicing criticism of radical Islam, and had not caused harm to anyone.

She said she had a relationship with a Muslim woman “whom I adore, whom I love and who has taught me so much about respect for people”.

“What have I done in my life? What have I done?” she continued, per a Deadline translation. “I haven’t killed a single fly. When I have a spider in my house I put a little glass on it so as not to kill it and take it out to the street.”

The actor offered her “most sincere apologies to all the people who may have felt offended for the way I express myself in my past, in my present and in my future”, before also stating: “I believe I have been judged, I have been convicted and sacrificed and crucified and stoned without a trial and without the option to defend myself.”

While many of the offensive tweets currently circulating online were real, some – including a post in which Gascón describes her Emilia Perez co-star Selena Gomez as a “rich rat” – are faked.

“It’s not mine, of course,” Gascón said, of the Gomez tweet. “I have never said anything about my colleague I would never refer to her that way.”

She claimed that people “have dedicated themselves to searching, to put together all the things that I had said at a time that I had written, most of which are false … most of them I don’t even recognise that I wrote them. And they put them all together and so it seems that she is a very bad person and we remove her [from the Oscar race] just when we can do the most damage, right in the voting period.”

Gascón added that she “doesn’t give a damn about awards”.

“What I do care about is the people that I represent, because of what I represent in this world,” she said. “We can all change and be better people in this world.”

According to Deadline, the interview took place without the involvement of Netflix, which distributed Emilia Perez.

Gascón previously told The Independent in a statement: “I want to acknowledge the conversation around my past social media posts that have caused hurt.

“As someone in a marginalised community, I know this suffering all too well and I am deeply sorry to those I have caused pain. All my life I have fought for a better world. I believe light will always triumph over darkness.”

Emilia Perez is up for 13 awards at this year’s Oscars, with Gascón’s co-star Zoe Saldana currently the favourite to win Best Supporting Actress.

Saldana was asked about Gascón’s controversy during a Q&A in London last week.

“I’m still processing everything that has transpired in the last couple of days, and I’m sad,” she said.

“It makes me really sad because I don’t support [it], and I don’t have any tolerance for any negative rhetoric towards people of any group. I can only attest to the experience that I had with each and every individual that was a part, that is a part, of this film, and my experience and my interactions with them was about inclusivity and collaboration and racial, cultural and gender equity. And it just saddens me.”
